The Power of Prayer in Action
Prayer Ministries in the Southwest Region Conference believes that prayer is the foundation of all ministry and the lifeline of the church. We are dedicated to mobilizing a conference-wide culture of prayer that permeates every level of church life -- from personal devotions to corporate intercession.
Our department coordinates prayer conferences, 24-hour prayer chains, national days of prayer, prayer walks, and intercessory prayer networks. We provide training for local church prayer coordinators and develop resources that help individuals and congregations deepen their prayer life.
We believe that when God's people unite in prayer, miraculous things happen. Through intentional prayer initiatives, we seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our conference, our churches, and our communities, trusting that God hears and answers the prayers of His faithful people.
