GO, RUN AND TELL

The Capital Cities Youth Federation (CCYF) convened on March 20-21, 2026, at the Baytown United SDA Church for a powerful weekend of worship, fellowship, and inspiration. Under the theme "Go Run and Tell That," the federation brought together young people from across the region for an unforgettable spiritual experience.

The weekend kicked off on Friday night with a captivating dramatic play titled "Jesus on Trial," which brought the biblical narrative to life in a way that resonated deeply with the audience. The young performers delivered a stirring portrayal that set the tone for the rest of the weekend's activities.

Sabbath morning began with an engaging Sabbath School panel discussion that encouraged youth to think critically about their faith and its application in everyday life. The divine worship service featured a majestic Pathfinder processional and a stirring performance by the Mass Choir, filling the sanctuary with praise and adoration.

The keynote speaker, Robert Norwood, delivered a powerful message entitled "Tattletales Matter," challenging the youth to be bold witnesses for Christ. His dynamic preaching style and relevant illustrations captivated the audience and inspired many to recommit their lives to sharing the Gospel.

Following a bountiful potluck fellowship meal, the afternoon highlighted the spirit of service and visibility as a Pathfinder parade marched through the streets of Baytown. The colorful procession drew the attention of community members and served as a living testimony of the faith and dedication of Adventist youth.

The Capital Cities Youth Federation continues to be a vital platform for nurturing the next generation of leaders in the Southwest Region Conference.
