Welcome

Introducing a Bold New Vision for Adventist Education in the Southwest Region Conference.

The Southwest Region Conference and Bainum Family Foundation have partnered to create a sustainable Model System that prioritizes educator support, student success, and operational excellence.

The new Model System is more than a restructure — it's a powerful step forward for Adventist Education across our schools. Built on a strong bond to the Adventist mission, an intention to be of, and communities, this initiative brings together faith, innovation, and purpose to strengthen the experience for students, families and educators alike.

Explore Frequently Asked Questions

Will the new Model System's vision align with our Adventist values?

Yes! The Model System is rooted in the belief that Adventist schools can transform lives and communities. It reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole child spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally — while strengthening educational quality and support for educators. Grounded in our faith, this system is designed to help students grow in excellence and live with purpose.

Will this change enhance the learner and teacher experience as well as the school community?

Yes. One of our primary goals is to create a better experience for both students and educators. For learners, this means more engaging instruction, modern learning environments, and opportunities for personal growth and leadership. For teachers, this means access to professional development, better resources, mentorship, and a supportive community that values their critical role in shaping lives.

Will this impact tuition or financial support for families?

We are committed to making Adventist education accessible and affordable. The partnership with the Bainum Family Foundation brings additional resources and expertise that can help us operate more efficiently and explore new funding opportunities. Our goal is to reduce financial barriers, not increase them.

How will families, staff, and church members stay informed and involved?

Transparency and communication are central to this initiative. We will provide regular updates through our conference website, email newsletters, town hall meetings, and direct communication with school communities. We welcome questions, feedback, and participation from all stakeholders.
